Our Story: From Environmental Work to Cedar Craftsmanship

With nearly two decades of experience in the environmental field, Greg began working with Missouri cedar in 2014, initially selling fence posts as a side venture. What started small quickly evolved into a full-scale operation as he developed innovative methods to debark and process cedar, revealing the wood’s rich grain and rustic beauty. Located in the Osage River Valley near Henley, Missouri, Greg’s workshop is rooted in the same landscape where he was raised and still calls home.


Greg works closely with local landowners to sustainably harvest and thin overgrown cedar patches, helping restore native habitats while sourcing the straight, high-quality logs used in his work. What inspires him most is turning a tree often labeled invasive into handcrafted products that add lasting beauty to homes and outdoor spaces. Each piece reflects his dedication to sustainable forestry, natural design, and timeless craftsmanship.
